£35000 you're right, the worlds gone mad, but there are a couple of old sayings that guarantee this bike will sell, "a fool and his money are easily parted" and "he's got more money than sense". At the end of the day they both mean the same thing I guess, so where's my cheque book?
Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" :x they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".

Not sure why he thinks a tin of touch up paint from 1968 is worth anything.

A pre-production version (1 of 4) sold a few years back in USA for nigh on $150,000. A pal of mine has a "standard production" sandcast he bought 10 years back for around £15K. We thought he was mad. Looks like he got a bargain then!

That's a big price for a replica. It was not an original sand cast bike but built from new parts according to the listing. That makes it all new which is nice, but it's a replica unless the frame or other major parts are original and even then it's a stretch.
