Just bought these for my 550. Anoraks will notice that there are less than 13 pleats but at £29 a go less than OEM at Francos £83.

Re: Replacement fork gaitors
I've had some on my "A" model for about twenty years, since I had the fork legs re-chromed and thought they would protect them from the elements and stone chips.
I also thought the fork legs look very thin and flimsy on a hefty bike like the kettle and the gaiters cure that problem with ease.
Another one for the purists to complain about

Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".

I agree Steve.. I've had my bike since 2005 and always had them on. I'd rather protect my fork legs.

Re: Replacement fork gaitors
Not sure it was the same seller but I bought a set for my T500. Apart from being a little slack where they fit over the groove in the fork bottoms they are indistinguishable from the originals and as Barney pointed out a lot cheaper.
They're rubbish them Jap bikes lad they won't last five minutes! you want to get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!

You should be ashamed of yourself Barney. Fit proper ones and never mind the cost!

Re: Replacement fork gaitors
I did actually Steve, - last week in Malta - and I've been spending money since.
Very little 'thatch' to act as padding when the old noggin gets attacked by a metal ladder (don' ask!)
Hopefully, I'll be better soon!
Regards the gaiters though, I dropped on them with a load of other stuff and they were a quid apiece.
