wiring gt750b

Post by johnbno1 »

ok here is one I'm thinking bad earth but any help is appreciated

nos wiring looms nos switch gear and all the electrics work fine but if the kill switch is in the on position and the headlight is on the wiring to the kill switch starts getting hot you can actually see the bulb dim when you switch it to run :?
This doesn't happen if the kill switch is in the off position, anyone had this I don't actually have a wiring diagram so I thought i would ask in case its something stupid i missed.

I actually might see if i can find a wiring diagram too i hate electrical faults :(

You may have a trapped wire somewhere, possibly in the switch body. Pop it off and have a look. Here is the link to the diagram you need

Cheers for the diagrams I printed them off and spent the day on it couldn't find anything so decided to start afresh and completely by accident found it seems to be ok until you plug the regulator in so I will take the one off the 380 to prove the theory before I buy one but fingers crossed
