fork help

Post by 2strokejohnny »

is there another option as these seem hard to come by 51168-30B00 or old part number 51168-45031 front fork seal spacer, now my GT750B had them in although it doesn't show them on the parts list,2sj

They are available on ebay, but try Suzuki, or if you have one, get some made at a local engineering/lathe place.
I've just done a pair of J forks and they aren't in those. So worst effect, go without them.
Have a look here for part details - http://www.alpha-sports.com/suzuki_parts.htm .
I'll have a look and see if I have another and measure the darn thing for p(r)osterity.

the ones i took out are lipped so the oil seal fits over it where as looking at the superceded ones they just look like a flat washer,2sj

Martin at Crooks recommend/supplied Ariete part # 003R for mine, they're 13mm deep so no spacer need.
