strobe timing
HI WANT TO CHECK THE TIMING ON MY 550 MY NEW TIMING LIGHT IS ADJUSTABLE SO DO I SET IT TO 3 DEGRES AND LINE UP THE TIMING MARKS OR LEAVE IT AT 0 THANKS JIM

Baz is correct that a stock old school two stroke has fixed timing with no advance or retard.
Modern two strokes are completely different and so are programmable ignitions, but stock and old = fixed timing.
