Carb help 750j

Post by Sketch »

Hi,could I have some advice please, I have recently purchased a 750j and I have removed the carbs to put in the ultrasonic bath,I have now come to check the float valve height which my manual says should be 27mm but all are set at around 20mm,also under the valve seat itself there is a fibre washer and an aluminium washer, is this correct and is 27mm the correct height to set them at,many thanks, dave.

Hi
Here is the info you require

The fibre gasket is all that is needed. Any addition will just make float level inaccurate

Just one more tip. The height is measured from the carb without the gasket.
