lack of power on gt750

Out riding today kettle running like a dream on returning home bike slowed slightly then would not pick up speed like normal ,still starts fine ticks over ok its a gt750A standard pipes and points any ideas what to look at also smoking a bit when trying to give it some stick .

Give it some more stick for at least 10 miles. It'll clear out and run better. Also stop using cheap supermarket petrol.

Could be a blocked main jet clean out the carbs does not sound electrical.
