Starter clutch puller
Hi,just to let you know if you need a puller to remove the starter clutch I used a bmw mini cranckshaft pulley remover made by laser tools part number 6142 ,fits perfectly with no modifications,dave

Can you give more detail? Starter clutch should just come off when you pull it with your hands?

Hi Barney,the starter clutch is fitted on a taper and needed quite a bit of pressure before it popped off,cheers,dave.

Just a tip put a rag over it or it may fly across the workshop and you will lose the bits!

I use a harmonic balance puller which is a crankshaft pulley puller, but you can get them a bit cheaper than a BMW tool I suspect.teazer wrote:I use a steering wheel puller from any auto store.
