GT750B rear shock absorber bushes.

Post by willowden »

Hi all ,
Does anybody know where I can buy some rear shock absorber bushes from , instead of replacing the whole unit ?
I believe they are 14mm internal diameter & 24mm external.
There are various available on EBay , but appear to originate in China & take forever to deliver .
My shockers are seized to the frame to the top & I will need to butcher the bush to remove them.
Thanks, Andy

I replaced the bushes on mine with some aftermarket ones and they lasted about 1000 miles. The shock's were Donald anyway so replaced them with a set of Hagon Classic's from Wemoto, they were cheaper than direct from Hagon themselves and really improved the ride.

They look to be exactly the same as the ones I fitted that lasted less than a 1000 miles, hopefully not but keep an eye on them :geek:
