If Baz hasn't got one, use a couple of biro springs until you get a proper one.

managed to get a temporary spring from the suzuki shop just need a proper one..i did put an extra locking nut on the end just to make sure it don't come off again.

That spring looks fine.If it works, it's OK. But three nuts, and one of them is a nyloc nut is overkill . :)

I did manage to get a genuine spring and full length boot from Dean at discount bike spares who is still trading for a couple more weeks,John

I would advice everyone to go and check their nuts now,just in case they are loose.

What size nylock is needed for the threaded oil pump rod? That sounds like good insurance. Thanks in advance.
