oil pump control rod bits missing

oil pump control rod bits missing
has anyone had this happen, ?just checking my kettle over and noticed the tacho was a bit erratic so was starting to investigate when i noticed the oil control rod dangling, think i've lost a spring and a couple of nuts !!!

And the olive as well methinks. I didn't notice where you are located, but Reiner has them, and Ian at Astrax does also .

i didn't see the olive on the parts list and sure there has never been one on my bike,i looked on astrax website and the part number he gives doesn't exist, is it a modified part for the kettle or does it replace another part ? 2sj

A stainless spring and matching nuts would be nice, but not necessary. You can buy what you need from a local hardware store - apart from the olive that is.

They have olives at Morrisons, but I'm not sure what good they'll be.....

my question was is this olive a std part ? as i couldn't find this part number in the parts list 16762-31210

Hi John, not sure if they're a std original Suzuki part but, I've seen them for sale recently on ebay, plus Baz had a few a while back, or try Crooks Suzuki who are very helpful and can source most parts for a kettle.
Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".

ordered my 2 nuts yesterday afternoon from my local suzuki dealer and got a phone call that they're in, so went and picked them up,just couldn't get the spring,is there an alternative out there for 09440-06016 ? John
