GT 550 B start up missing on left cylinder
My Suzuki GT 550 B on start up choke on has a misfire on the left cylinder while warming up.when the choke is taken off it seems to get a bit better and starts to kick in and when you get going it’s all ok running great. Any ideas .???

Hi
Two stroke engines need heavy enrichment to start firing on initial start up. That's because the mixture vapourises when the metal surfaces of cylinder wall and piston are hot, but when cold more petrol is needed.
I would suggest you have a choke problem with the left as it's not firing initially and only chimes in when it gets hot when the engine runs for a while.
Check that the choke piston is lifting as it should and is not stuck shut
If that's okay check that the upright brass tube in the float bowl is clear and that the small jet in the bottom is not clogged with sediment as often happens.

Swap the 2 outer plugs to see if the problem follows the plug, if it doesn't get the carbs serviced with Baz.
Proof that four strokes are over complicated
