Silly question but is the radiator crash bar the same shape on both sides?
Having stripped my kettle and going through which parts need replacing/plating etc I have spotted that looking from the top the crash bar is angled further back towards the motor on the right hand side, there is no evidence of any damage or creasing to make me think that it has been bent
cheers

Re: B model radiator crash bar shape
I think they are meant to be symmetrical but the reality is a lot are not. I bought
a used one and had it straightened and re chromed but it’s still not absolutely straight!
Worth having it tweaked while you are at it if you are having it re chromed though.
