GT750a Seat Cover Recommendations

Post by byarchie »

Whats the favoured seat cover that people use please. Ebay have one from Old school Covers which has a sewn and wired edge with the correct amount of pressed panels on. Has anyone tried these.

I bought and fitted one from this guy and I am very happy with the look and feel of it.

Thanks very much for your recommendation. How is the cover finished underneath does it have a sewn hemmed edge and wire insert like the original or is it just folded around and trimmed when fitted.

No it’s not like the original which you describe. Just tuck and trim.

Get one from Pit Replicas - they are exactly the same as the original Suzuki ones even down to the underside fixing- no glue used as on the other ones - when you open your seat up it looks factory fresh

P & K Classic Bikes in Cannock did a perfect job on my GT750A seat last year, and I highly recommend them.

+1 on pit replicas. I have fitted them to GT's and GS's and they are as original.

It’s an easy enough job if you buy a decent cover. I’ve done two now one on my Kettle and one on the T500 I’m restoring.
