Coolant bottle cleaning
Hello all, just wondering if anyone has any tips for cleaning the coolant bottle. I,ve seen various methods online involving dishwasher tabs and rice but was wondering if any members have any other ideas?

I could never get the coolant reservoir bottle clean on my Gpz 900. Tried the dishwasher, bought long brushes, stuffed all sorts into it without much improvement.
This year i took it off again filled it with water and washing up liquid and immersed it in my ultra sonic bath. The bath is not huge and i had to keep moving the bottle around however the result is perfect........for the first time in 33 years it is clean

Fill it with a bleach and hot water solution, keep shaking it and that will clean the inside. Or fill a bucket with the same solution and immerse the tank.
Do not get bleach on your clothing, hands or in your eyes ffs!

And don't do what the worlds self professed medical expert president advised, and drink it.Alan H wrote:Fill it with a bleach and hot water solution, keep shaking it and that will clean the inside. Or fill a bucket with the same solution and immerse the tank.

Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".
