Head gasket sealant

Hi ,just a quick one,any recommendations for the make of gasket seal for the new head gasket on my GT 750 ,

No need for anything other than a new gasket.

Check the head for any imperfections.
It could have been that he re-used the old gasket.

Had a look and seems ok,cleaned off with a bit of 1200 wet and dry,bit of crystallization in one part but no oily milky gunk

I wouldn't take the risk of a leak,
Buy a new gasket to be sure,

Good job you broke off that tie wrap! Or you could have discovered this the hard way :D

Hi Roger,got a new head gasket ordered but just wanted to know if it needed anything on it,my days of Kellogg cornflakes box gaskets and a tube of premature red are long gone
