should they read GT550 and NOT GT750.You are referring to the 550, right?
Hmmmmmmm....OK, looks like its got mixed. I suspect Alan was talking about GT550, and I was talking GT750. Having said that, post 1971 model serial numbers for both frame and engine number are well documented for all Suzuki models, its the pre-1971 ones that are a problem. For all the GT models you can take a look at this link:

I have several source documents available there. If anyone has a pre-1971 model Suzuki and would like to assist with bracketing the production years I'd like to hear from you. And the 'GT550 Field Guide' section on the site is in development thanks to help from a number of people including some of the board members here - I just need to find some time when the weather is bad to finish it off. 8-)

Just completed a few more updates:
  • - revamped the 'Sales Brochure' pages
  • - the 'Manuals' page has been completely revamped
  • - added the K10/K11/K15 parts manual
  • - added the B100P service manual
  • - Added the B100P parts manual
  • - Added the S32-2 parts manual
  • - added a copy of the 1972/1973 Service Data manual (thanks for the scans Alan ! Image )
  • - corrected a few errors here and there
I'm still looking for good photos of original paint GT550's for the new GT550 Field Guide currently nearing completion - contact me via email directly if you have a photo you'd like included. And the link to the site again is:

If you spot an error, or wish to contribute something, just drop me a line. Enjoy ! 8-)

Just for info (and for those of you who don't follow my Facebook page :D ) I added a couple more manuals to my web site yesterday:
  • - the B100 and B100P Owner's manual
  • - the T10 Owner's manual
That brings me up to 50 manuals now available for on-line viewing, along with 143 service/technical bulletins, 3 "books" and a load of other stuff, all located at this link. A lot of folks have helped to make this possible - you know who you are, and my thanks to each of you.

Enjoy !
