Re: Feeling painty
Cheers ! I put the elbow grease in today to flat and polish the set to sort out the blebs and orange peel etc. By the time I'd finished I was too knackered to take any photos I'll post some pics later this week.Flyingscotsman1 wrote:Looks brilliant mate

Turned out ok I think
This is the A set for my GT380. I'm waiting on the tail bracket to come back from Agbriggs so I can complete the transformation from a B livery to an A.

On ward and upward !
I've decided to sort out the Kettle A/B tank I have.
I had it blasted to make sure it is solid and it is
Some time in the past the r/h badge mounts must have stripped so the PO had cut them off, I presume to try and repair them.
I have rebuilt them with stainles steel nuts and JB tank weld material.
Works a treat.
The inside has been cleaned with good old citric acid and is mint.
I'm going to paint up the tank and a side panel set to primer stage and then decide what colour scheme to finish in.

Makes a change from blue but there are too many "A"s that colour so Candy Red as per the options for that year
