GT750A inner sprocket cover question
Here’s a quick and easy question for the GT750A gurus- re: the larger of the 2 inner sprocket cover, did the 76 GT750A come original with the shift pattern embossed on the cover or not? Thanks in advance!

Re: GT750A inner sprocket cover question
The embossed gear change pattern was standard on the A model UK kettle, not sure about all models because I think Ii've seen J's and K's with the pattern and without. Could be imports though or could be mix and match.
Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".

Not sure this is of any use to you but my 74 L American import has the pattern embossed on the cover in question

^ appreciate your input. I’ll probably purchase one with the shift pattern just because.

Re: GT750A inner sprocket cover question
I think the cover changed to accomodate the gear indicator switch on later models, more clearance
Cheers.

It's not much use really, I've always found it rather dangerous to look at when riding along....
