Radiator hose clamp covers

Post by garry55 »

Anyone got a pair of really tatty / rusty covers that they would like to part with?
They don't have to be fit for re-chroming as I will be powder-coating them, the very reason I don't want to purchase a new pair.

Thanks

Garry.

Hi Garry, someone I knew made a pair at work out of polished stainless steel tubing, could you do the same or get a mate to make a pair for you? even easier out of mild steel and better for powder coating :D
Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" :x they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".

There's a couple of used kettle exhaust clamps on ebay right now for £12, auction though so may go up. Item number 324004244996, might be worth trying.
