The first attempt at striping up was a bit off
The sripes were too thick and crowded the badge area
I'm a lot happier with the second attempt
The top stripe is a little wonky so I will be relaying
Doing this from example photos so no doubt not hugely accurate but I think it looks ok

They're rubbish them Jap bikes lad they won't last five minutes! you want to get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!

I've looked at dozens of 550J's on the web and the tank detail is often slightly different. I guess many have been refinished. That pic you put up is a good example. The paint is dark gold, more like Candy Gold 4 rather than Aztec. Ho hum
