750 J/K seat base

Post by rodent »

It's my understanding that the J/K seat bases have more holes that the later seats. In the pic below there should be holes inside the red circles(yes I know there are others), does anyone have measurements of exactly(near enough) where they should be?

Cheers

Are you able to take a few measurements for me please squire? How far they are apart and rough measurements of their location?

Are the extra holes to let more farts out due to the aproximate handling and braking on the early Hippos?

The hole's in the center, are center to the cross swage, so cut a square of paper, cross it from corner to corner, find the middle, put it over, there's your middle to drill.. I would us a step drill.. ( photo) The two ether side of center swage, is 3 to 4 mm out from the center... :D
