New Suzuki Katana unveiled

Post by PaulD738 »

Suzuki have unveiled its new retro Katana. In an attempt to cash in on the nostalgia craze ala Kawasaki with their Z900 it was revealed at a trade show in Germany yesterday. In my eyes they have made a right dogs breakfast of it with only the headlight fairing bearing a slight resemblance to the iconic original!

Quite agree, however the z900rs is a suberb bike I think. will be a futre classic. if I hada spare ten grand i would have one.
Hang on; if I sell the kettle and my gt380 and my fz750 and my z650 we would be almost there!
now.. what colourdo i want?...
only joking, but it looks a superb machine with some great tests on you tube.

Yes they have missed a trick with the Katana, sat on the retro z900
at the Ally Pally show, nice bike (no suzuki's at the show) looked
a lot better in the 'Brown' colour than the green.

A lot of the new bike paint schemes seem to be going back
to the older style designs and colour ie the Hondas were in the red, white and blue
like the old Honda Britain.
