wheel date code, left or right

Hi, does anybody know if the date codes on wheel rims are both on the left side or right side.
I have 74 L, i am looking to replace rear rim, re spoke, at present front is on left & rear is on right.

It doesn't matter which side the date stamps are on as the rims aren't handed but my OCD would want them on the same side if I'm rebuilding the wheels :roll: Still, these things should be taken in the round ... :tw

If I understand the dates correctly, my '75 M appears to have a '74 rear wheel rim and a '72 front with twin discs :?
Front 2G 102
Rear 4B 101
I have it wrong.....right?

Thanks guys,Picked a nice rear from reg b, so will go both on left.

Stainless steel rims and spokes on my 550J 'Yeti'. Never need cleaning.
