rattling side panels!

Post by wardy »

Hi guys and gals!
I,ve recently noticed that both my gt750 side panels and one of my gt380 side panels are quite a loose fit over the top mounting lugs and rattle like crazy!
I believe that there is a small rubber sleeve that goes over the top lug to alleviate this, but I can't find them anywhere.
Does anyone have a link to these items please?
I also believe that the X7 250 had them and also some Kawasaki triples.
help greatly appreciated!

Easier than that - get some clear screen washer type pipe cut two pieces to about an inch length then slit it lengthways with a Stanley knife and slot it over the the mounting lugs on the side panel so that it sits against the frame - nice tight fit and no more rattles

;) +1 with the above post,I did this to my side panels & also the fuel tank flap on my GT750A
Slit old fuel line rubber & attached it to the tank seam where the flap closes shut at the front of the tank.
Cheers.
