gt750B

Post by johnbno1 »

Looking to delve into the fountain of knowledge what other models use the same back light as a 750B the square one?

I presume its the same as the early chrome GS one but I don't have a part number or anything, mine is ok but not perfect and i think i got one off a gn250 or something as a stop gap i cant remember :oops:

The 380B, 500B and 550B are the same part. The number is 35710-31620. Kev

All part numbers here - http://www.alpha-sports.com/suzuki_parts.htm

Click year, model, area and there's an exploded diagram. Part numbers next to it.

Paste the part number into ebay or google and it'll tell you what else it fits.

Not sure what you mean? The light assembly is the part number I put in my earlier post. If it is just the lense you are after it is part number 2 in this diagram

The GS unit has a satin black back plate so you have to do what I did for my B Kettle. Strip the unit down and grind off the lugs that hold the inner lamp holder bracket in place, Get the back plate chromed and then use bolts to refix the inner lamp holder bracket;

Robinsons are selling these at a good discount so, with the cost of chroming the backplate, you are probably looking at around £110 or so to sort it
