Use normal 10/40 mineral in all my old two strokes and have done since the seventies - I take it we are talking about gearbox oil - with the two stroke side I always use Comma mineral two stroke oil - I was using Motaquip fully synthetic for a while but didn't like the fact that there was no smoke at all as I like to see a bit then you know that it's getting some oil and it also smells right :D

Rock oil or Millers 10/40 classic in the gearbox and Rock oil Road mineral two stroke. My bike didn’t like synthetic two stroke oil at all and sounded very rough when it was running. Don’t forget these bikes are 40+ years old and where designed to run on what oil was current in the day.
