Hi Al', the GT750 "dragon scales" are fine and will never be changed, the "GSX1100g goldfish however has had to have a respray after developing a "crazy paving" effect. Been to the sprayers today for a progress report, almost finished and looking really good. Very impressed with the cost too, £350 for the tank and all the panels, including all the stripes.
See you at South Leverton, if not before.
Cheers, Steve.

Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".

Hi young man.
If you're really having problems then I may be able to help, later in the year.
I used to be JS MOTORCYCLES doing all the Suzuki triples.
For a reference just ask around there's a lot of people who will know of me.
Just mention the name John Storrie.
Officialy I'm retired but still keep a few spares and OEM connectors.
Regards John

Nope. Nivver'erd'o'yer.
Are you from darn sarf somewhere?
Have a trip up to God's county - Yorkshire - for the 2019 rally and we'll show you some proper Sizuki'ing.
(Bring a brolly just in case!)
Welcome to the asylum by the way.

Interesting that the 1100G developed a paint issue, I was never that sure that part of the bike had been done too well, looked OK, but not sure how much preparation was done by whoever sprayed it.
