Hi, also dislike the term "Bikers"
Modern trucks are very quite until the use of compression braking / exhaust braking,
really annoying the use of this method to control speed in a suburban built up area
Cheers.

Oh dear I'd better retire from this site as I run loud bikes and go fast and am 56. Been riding bikes all the time since 15 and still ride thriough the winter. Have always had race cans and not been stopped yet so I'm not going to worry now. Mind i suppose mixing the words kettle and quick don't really go in the same sentence lol. I'll sit back now and wait for the abuse as clearly I'm so irresponsible :o

Roger, if a lorry driver is using the exhaust brake in a built up area he needs to learn how to drive!
The exhaust brake was designed for use on long slow hills where constant use of the foot brake would cause overheating with a drastic loss of braking.
They're rubbish them Jap bikes lad they won't last five minutes! you want to get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!

Trouble is, they use them on uphills to upset 'normal' drivers.
