So just over five weeks after my op', I finally managed to get back in the saddle yesterday and it felt great. Set off on the GSX1100 with my son in law, heading towards Boston to have a look at a new bike shop that's opened recently, but half way there (heading south) the skies started to look decidedly dodgy, so we turned east and went to Mablethorpe instead and then back home along the coast road to Grimsby, about 50 miles in all. Some of the roads ridden will be included in the routes for next years "Lincolnshire rally," so all attending can look forward to a proper treat.
Really enjoyed the ride and no post op' problems, so weather permitting should be able to get out on the kettle a few times before winter sets in.

Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".

Good news all roun there Steve.
Glad to hear you're well on the way to being normal again.
Oh, by the way, Paul (from Warrington) is going to put a 'Cod' light on his Katana. I suggested that it would be more at home on the scaly kipper in your garage.....

Cheers Harry, hopefully I'll see you and some other familiar faces at Willingham, if there are any more dry sunny Sundays before winter arrivesHarrymail wrote:Great to hear you are on two wheels again Steve

I will certainly be wanting to try my 550 when it's back from Baz. Hopefully will be out on it later this month.stevewharton wrote:Cheers Harry, hopefully I'll see you and some other familiar faces at Willingham, if there are any more dry sunny Sundays before winter arrivesHarrymail wrote:Great to hear you are on two wheels again Steve
