Ok I’m now at the stage where I need to register the T500.
Now I’ve done this once before with my Kettle but that was pre the mot exemption. So has anyone gone through the process recently and can you give me any advice.
TIA

I'll send you some documentation later Paul. All straightforward (ish!)

Thanks Al, I’ve still got the V55 you gave me from when I did the kettle. I’m not sure what difference the MOT exemption makes?Alan H wrote:I'll send you some documentation later Paul. All straightforward (ish!)

Re: Registering a classic
You don't need one if the bike was registered over 40 years ago on april 1st. Just register it as 'classic' or whatever it says on the new papwrwork. You don't have to have it insured either when registering, but if it isn't insured, you'll get a fine from dvla. You can't work it out!!!

I take it I still need a proof of age certificate as before plus the nova paperwork then?Alan H wrote:You don't need one if the bike was registered over 40 years ago on april 1st. Yup. Cheapest and quickest is via VJMC. Look on their website - www.vjmc.com - then Dating (halfway across the screen among all the other titles and 'Age related registration'.
It's £45 for non member or £35 for a VJMC member. Membership is £30, or £24 for over 65's if you want to join.

Hi chaps, I'm going through the process of registering my 550 now, any help would be greatly appreciated
Where do I get a certificate of conformity from? Or at least the details required from it
Sorry for the thread hijack

Ok great, when filling out the V55/5 and it asks for details like Euro status, track width or wheelbase where do I get this information from?
