GT750J Carbs

Post by Mikey »

Anyone know where I can get a float bowl for a 750J VM32 carb? Is it the same as the GT550 carbs or anything else? I only need one!

Cheers

They are Mikuni VM32 carbs the same as the T500.
I might have a spare one, I’ll have a look.
Failing that they turn up on flea bay occasionally
They're rubbish them Jap bikes lad they won't last five minutes! you want to get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!

He needs the float bowl not the floats which is where I made my mistake
I didn’t read it properly either, so I’m sorry Mikey I don’t have a bowl but do have a spare float.

As far as I know both the J&K used the Mikuni VM32 slide carbs. From the L model on Suzuki fitted the CV type carbs. So yes they are the same. As I mentioned the T500 also used them.

Yes J and the K used the same VM32 mikuni carbs I think the carb top was different on the K but essentially the same. Float bowls seem to be made out of some crappy metal that degrades in fuel over time so the when the bike is on the side stand the float bowl corrodes in the corner on the lowest carb.......at least that is my understanding
