Looking at an original that I have in front of me, the item on Ebay looks like they had Ray Charles quoting dimensions.......not even close to factory looking :?
Well, that’s the beauty of having options. Now you’ve discounted that one you can move on.
As can you, I started the thread and you're just a "passenger" ;)

Folk who buy the "stainless" Ebay item are either cheap or aesthetically challenged.....or both ;)

I suppose being a passenger on this thread is a bit like being a back seat driver. The passenger has valid information but it’s discounted by the driver. In this case you probably right as it’s not taking you in the direction you want.

Hands up those people who bought the chrome covers from this guy. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/153478730819

I’m sure they’re not “cheap or aesthetically challenged”. Can’t imagine anyone on this forum is.

You're the guy spamming the the "Ebay item" , I'm only here giving Kudos to the guy that's reproducing a part that's near identical to the original item............Keep pedaling.....

No association with that ebayer just posting an option. As for pedalling , better than pedalling backwards

From a cheap and aesthetically challenged moderator.

^^^Now I know why you have your nuts in a bind ;)

Just because you buy something, it doesn't mean it the best ;)

Nuts are perfectly relaxed and swinging in the right direction as far as I’m concerned.

Didn’t say they were the best. Just posted another option for members to make a calculated decision.

I’ve a set of originals, chrome is peeling off and rusty but would probably clean up and rechrome. Make me an offer if interested ;)
