Hi Baz I’ve got delkevics fitted to my kettle and agree they do sound a little bit tinny compared to the originals , however IMO they look really good , but do you think that maybe with a few thousand miles of use as they carbon up they may start to sound better and a little less tinny

Hi Ian, perhaps Baz will confirm this when he gets back from the IOM, but I heard that Delkevics are now on to their second generation of kettle exhausts and the baffle design has been changed so the sound is much more like the original Suzuki exhausts. If you bought your Delkevics recently perhaps you got an earlier set.
HTH Steve.
Look, my paintwork hasn't got "Fish scales" :x they're "Dragon scales" right!!! However, after some thought, I will accept "Black Marlin" or "Swordfish", but definitely not "Haddock" or "Cod".

Hi Steve
Yes they were only purchased a couple of months ago from D&K in Staffordshire so maybe i do have an earlier set but to be fair even though they aren't perfect and don’t sound as good as the originals I'm happy with them and think its great that someone has the foresight to bring them to the market cos I really didn’t want to fit expansions , nothing against spannies just not for me

A mate showed my a couple of photos he'd been sent last week of the new expansions Delkevic are making for Kettle's. They have nicely curved headers like the original pipes and the price quoted was £599 unfinished.
