Just stunning Martin, the big Z is my favourite bike of all time, I loved mine & should never have sold it  They always seemed to have carburation problems as the three twin chokes where a bit of a compromise, hence the later ones using DFI. Mine like yours was a KZ and had an extra on/off rocker switch on one of the handlebar clusters which I rigged to turn the fan on in traffic where she used to get hot under the collar.
They're rubbish them Jap bikes lad they won't last five minutes! you want to get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!

Its an import so needs registering but is quite tidy so may get registered and ride for now and do next winter.Looks better as they all do in the pictures.Paint job is rattle can and standard exhausts are rotten underneath but all the chrome work is not to bad and is rechromeable.Engine runs sweet as......Rick

Looks good for a valvey diesel sort of thing Ricky. We'll have to meet up and I'll let you have a look at the 5 yarder GSX1400 currently in the harem......
Other than that and the V6 4x4, they're all 2 strokes!
Proof that four strokes are over complicated
