Hippo is now sorn'ed so won't be ridden until April when it will be free VED.
It will be run on a regular basis in the garage to keep the mice coughing.
Hippo update time.

Not sure the mice local to you will be happy in a 'shed' Mike.
They're Suvn mice and might be a bit wimpy! Try Sainsbury's.

Kev,
You know, I thought that as I typed it, too. "Where the dickens is this cr*p coming from?" But I posted it anyway

Re: Hippo update time.
Changed the identity of the Hippo yesterday - as it's SORN - so I could nip it down to the outlaws house/garage.
I'll put the number plate back on the Earwig when I get chance.
Strangely, the Hippo started first push of the button and ran very well without any histrionics or naughtiness! Must have realised it had a 550 'bit' on......
Anyway, it's wrapped up until April now when it's free road tax!

Re: Hippo update time.
I thought I'd tax the Hippo yesterday as it's free from today. So got all the paperwork out and noticed the MOT ran out 2 days ago......
Plan B then. It looks like waiting a few days 'til it gets warmer and I can take it to the testers'.
Nowt straightforward with these old bikes is there?

It's the crotchety old owners to blame, leave the bikes alone, they just tut under their breath at our stupidity
