The truck driver reckoned that the Corsa shoved him into the Audi and the Audi into me.
All without bending the rear safety bar of the truck. Yeh, right.

Had a look at the car this morning and the exhaust is just blowing, the reverse sensors don't work properly, the towbar looks slightly skewwhiff and the tailgate has a crease in it.
I've asked for the courtesy car to be a Bentley Bentaygo - the new 4x4 they are making and promised to look after it and not do much offroading in it!
I think when the time comes for change, it'll be another Santa Fé too, with another nice petrol engine and LPG at (currently) 50p ish a litre.

Ouch, glad to hear everyone relatively unharmed. That looks pretty bad. -Eric

Dealt with many similar when I worked for Portasilo up and down the country and abroad.
Tipping tankers and belly feeder types.
Saw a tipper on it's side once due to the driver not looking after his hydraulics at the back as the load came off.
I thought it was funny anyway.

I think the one that hit the Audi was a 20 odd tonner - three axles and laden.

Alan, mine was a liquid chemical tanker. That particular one is carrying hydrochloric acid and I was delivering it to a power plant in Southern Ireland. It wouldn't be funny if I turned that over :?
