T250 Front Fork Inner Tube Spring Clip
Hello, has anyone found a simple method of removing the spring clips from the front fork inner tubes on a Suzuki T250 without damaging the chrome tube surface in the process?

You could wrap the leg with tape,
Even smear some grease over the tape then it should slip off.

How about a piece of plastic pipe, slit down the middle then made to fit snugly on the fork, open up the clip enough to transfer it onto the plastic, then just slide it off?

Not a bad idea, however I don't think you could open the spring clip wide enough to get enough room to go over the plastic pipe. If the pipe had a really thin wall, say 1mm, you may be able to get the clip to go over the pipe. I'll see what I can find
