clock console

i have the early brown and black console in vgc ! but its an American one with the red high beam , just wondering if anyone had replaced these with the blue and how they did it

If it works, leave it alone. It's original.

re the speedos - I've got a set fitted to one bike which are kph calibrated and showing 28000km, (about 16800 miles). Got myself a nice clean UK mph set to replace them with, but the UK recorded mileage is showing 27500 miles. Any ideas on the best way to adjust the UK set to read the correct (lower) mileage? Thanks

2 days with a drill... is the kph spedo brown face looking for one cheers.

Take 'em apart and zero 'em. Or take 'em apart and set correct odo mileage. Straightforward, but not quick.

thanks guys - thought that would be the options. sorry Baz - not GT clocks - GS550 from Holland. (yeah I know ... hat, coat , door ... ! :D )

It's just faded by the sun -the red main beam light wasn't only on American bikes it was on UK models up to the M model - A & B had the blue light - relatavely easy to swap if the glue has gone a bit brittle with age
