I bought some recently off eBay? maybe I bought the last ones on the planet. The T500 seat doesn’t hinge by the way, it clips under a bar at the front and then the bushes push into loops at the back of the frame rails. I’ll have a look tonight and measure them up for youstupot wrote:Has anyone got the measurements or drawing , i was going to make myself four of these unobtainable parts on a lathe.

Thanks that would be great . I was trying to work out how the seat is secured and began scratching my head. Ive just bolted the fender to the frame like a kettle but I knew that wasnt right.

Hi Paul. Sorry i can be a bit of a dummy sometimes. Ive found that I do actually have 3 of the bushes fitted. soz .
But you can still help me. I dont understand how the seat is secured at the rear frame forks which includes the mud gaurd. Here is a picture of one side with all the fittings.

Welded on to the rear of the seat base are two “hooks” one each side. You simply line everything up so the large tongue at the front slides under the locating bar as the hooks slide into the bolts which are fitted through the bushes in the rear frame rail. It’s a bit fiddly lining everything up!

Make sure the seat hooks don’t touch the frame, there should be a washer that touches the steel bush inside the rubber grommets then the seat hook then another washer. This isolates the seat pan from the frame rails.

No they are not quite the last ones on the planet, I have just made some for a guy and have a few sets left over
Seemed like he had been looking for them for a while.
Thanks
