You can only get them out by breaking them into small pieces and replaced by glass, but with brasso or jewellers rouge they can sometimes be polished.

I have the replacement glass, but getting the old ones out is proving to be a pain in the posterior !!!
Could do with finding a replacement bezel

You have to cut the polycarbonate out with a dremel saw. Then break out the bits that go into the recess and finally fit a glass on top of thin white plastic 'string. I should have taken pics when I did the last ones, but I've to do some more very soon, so I suppose it might as well be a 'how I did them' jobby!

Well, with a bit of patience and finesse I've managed to get the cloudy perspex out, and in order to save Alan a job, i've attached a few pic's to help anyone else fancying having a go.

Step 1 - looking at the rear of the rev counter, run a blade between the plastic bezel and the metal base of the rev counter. This will allow you to remove the unit itself from the bezel.

Step 2 - use a dremel to cut the majority of the perspex face out.
Step 3 - using a grinding wheel or sanding barrel attachment on ur dremel (at low speed), so as not to melt the perspex, and aid control, grind back the perspex to as lose to the bezel edge as you dare.
step 4 - The original perspex has a lip on it, which sits in a groove around the edge of the bezel. With the bezel on it's side, and using a small cutting disc (on the dremel) cut as close to the locating lip as possible. you can go quite deep, as you are cutting in to the recess.

Step 5 - with the bezel on its side still, drill a small hole in to the groove on the bezel.
step 6 - You should now be able to use a small flat blade screwdriver to lever out what's left of perspex.

One thing I have notice since completing the task is that the replacement glass is flat, rather than concave on the underside, so I will need to fit some kind of spacer, so the rev counter needle doesn't catch on the glass

Hopefully this makes sense :-)

Had the same trouble with a GT250K and got around it by sitting the new perspex on a large o ring so that it cleared the needle

The bezels themselves are looking a bit like an old smokers pub. Did you paint yours ? if so, what did you use ?
They look great
