Hi guru's <br />I got this new speedometer cable but its shorter than my damaged origanal. All the part numbers match but it wont reach through both stays evev if I adjust the sender on the hub.<br />Any ideas?

Looks like it's a shorty.

there isn't a standard speedo on the Earwig either!
I have a 'standard' cable for the 550J speedo, but it's in the garage 'somewhere' and I've just got a dose of snottyitis started, so I ain't going in there 'cos it's chuffin' freezing!
