That same basic design was also used on the 750 and most bikes up to the GSXR etc. I don't have a 550 clutch or starter to compare but someone with both may be able to tell us if 750 parts will fit. Alan, perhaps, or Baz, what say yee ?

I don't think the clutches are physically similar, but the rollers, springs and ancillaries are the same part numbers.
Look on here - http://www.alpha-sports.com/suzuki_parts.htm - and pick year, model and screen name (e.g. 'clutch'.)

Biggest problem with the early clutches was that if the gearbox oil level got low, the starter clutch didn't get lubricated and caused the kind of damage that was seen in the pics due to overheating causing the roller run to get very hot and lose hardness, then breaking.
The Borg Warner unit wasn't so picky and would keep running on just a splash of oil. All comes down to maintenance really.

How do you think it is: 12620-34003, or 12620-34004. I can't recognize. :( It looks a little different. I can buy it, but I do not know if it will fit my motorcycle.

I think it would be risky and you would just be wasting your money. +1 on the Borg Warner that's what I did.

So conversion to a Borg Warner clutch is not good on my motorcycle? I thought it was plug and play.

I just found something like that. WTF?

You need to look at

GT26

Here http://www.oldjapanesebikes.com/mraxl_G ... ins/page-2

This is the only update you can make that is going to work. It explains which parts to change and which of your existing clutch you can use. There are several pages just tap to go to the next page.

Yeah. I would replace the entire assembly.
Like this:

But first, I try fix my starter clutch but i need to get the clutch gear starter. It's hard to get it, i think. Primary driven gear appears on eBay sometimes, but my locksmitch will try to repair this.

The only problem is if your repair fails it is likely to cause big damage to your motor. Just sayin'
