Fuel tap 550

Post by 1250Bandit »

Fuel tap, had enough now, what where how dose the v seal fit? mine never had one and leaked out the front of the tap. I've got a new gen seal thingie with 5 holes in it but where dose the V seal go/fit to stop it leaking out the front ? I've tried both ways and once the screws are done up you cant turn the tap????

HELP

Cheers

I thought it was supposed to go in the groove around the tap handle?

I might be wrong but I don't think the early taps had the v seal. I think it was introduced because of the leaking problem.
