Hi everyone.I would like to introduce myself to your forum. Bought my first Suzuki Gt250 in 1976 followed by T500,gt550, Gt750 then gs750. I have just bought a 1977 GT250B to renovate. I will definitely need some advice. Looking forward to using this forum. Thanks John.

Thanks guys.
This will nobout be the first of many questions. My bike came with a near perfect condition tank, unfortunately it didn't have a fuel tap, not the screw on type but the later one with 2 bolts. I have tried all the classic spares dealers and ebay but no joy.Does anyone have a spare I can buy. John.

As you have already found these are very difficult to source and bloody expensive if you do find one. I have a friend with four GT250’s and he’s been looking for one for a long time. I’m in the process of machining an adapter up so he can use an earlier screw on tap on his bike. I’ll let you know how I get on on with that.

Looks like someone else has had a similar idea to me
Just found this, not too expensive but the postage is a killer! It depends how desperate you are?
