The arms of the spring should go one each side of the pin so that it tensions the selector to centre

Hello, can I push the rod back and place the spring between the pin? look at the position of the selector gears and right, the engine has been stopped in neutral gear, I'm sorry if I ask but I need certainty before mounting the carter, in the manual you do not see this position, if you have a picture or tell me where to find it's nice for me. Thanks you are kind

The selector rod will just push in and out so you can locate the arms of the spring easily
