Morning all
If I leave the bike standing for a while the oil drains out of the pipes. I assume the valves are shot. Have tried rebuilding with new valves with little success. Does anyone in the group provide a refurb service ?
Many thanks
Mark

First I would test the lines. Remove them from the bike fill them with oil can or syringe and hang them up banjos down overnight see if the oil drains from the pipes.
If it does try cleaning the inside of the lines with petrol using a syringe or oil can. They may just be stuck open.
If that doesn't work they are toast.
The other thing to check is the air vent in the engine oil tank. If that is blocked it will prevent oil flowing to the pump. Just remove the cap overnight and see.
You can buy the banjo valves I would avoid the ebay ones you see there are mixed reports on them working or not. You can buy Kawasaki ones that are the same and no bad reports on them.

Or just take a punt on ebay on a second hand set if they leak send them back!

I’ve tried these with little success, and as a result I have a number of useless lines in the garage. I’ll try cleaning an ol set with petrol. If that fails, I can always head to the pub for a pint

I'm not scared of spending money, I just find the actual spending an unnatural act.

It took a few weeks, but finally got all the gremlins sorted. Just waiting for the dating certificate, then I can hopefully get it registered
