Thank you Kevin for your endeavours!! No hard feelings..... My bike came in from Germany so maybe the ignition came off a Heinkell or Messerchmidt.....!!!

If I remember correctly there is two different types of ignition switch for the 380. A three wire switch and four wire switch. Seem to remember something about this when I rebuilt mine.

This is why I find diagrams useful
This one is manky but shows that it is the six wire version. Physically, four are connected directly to the switch via the four way plug with an extra red and orange (with green sleeve) as flying leads coming off the switch

Thanks. My front loom has the block of four plus the two flying leads as described. I just need to get a bag of fuses and work out how it all connects now. Cheers.
