As a reminder, it won't start from cold without it, it won't run when warm with it.
Just curious as to why your Red Baron is monochrome?

The lever has START & RUN stamped on it with an arrow pointing the way to press it
Cheers Dave

Re: GT550 CHOKE
Evening all - yes I believe pushing down on choke lever actuates the chokes. That said anyone understand why mine does n't seem to stay engaged when I let it go ??
Thanks

Re: GT550 CHOKE
It doesn't stay down unless you hold it. Well, the chokes on mine don't - that way they can't stick, or go on while riding.
Not really difficult to hold that down while you press the button is it?

Re: GT550 CHOKE
Two strokes require a very rich mixture to start but as soon as the motor runs it's the opposite and should be turned off ASAP.
