Good morning Barney01, Canaletto5, you are always kind.
Help me also in this problem. I measured the height of the floats, 25.75 from the inside without gasket, then I simulated the filling with a syringe, the carburettors I hung them up on a rod, I noticed that there is a leak along the edge of the pan. I think the valves of the conical pins are in order I looked at it with magnifying lens it seems ok, however I ordered replacement kits. Now tell me, I read on some manuals that the height can be even 24.75 but which is right, mine is a 380 L 1974. One more thing to adjust the minimum you have to do the procedure of the left candle gap, then adjust the valve screws to 1100 rpm, then still central spark plug out etc etc., this kind of adjustment is for my type of carburetor VM24SC? you have to recommend a reading or video for a correct floating and minimum engine adjustment. Thank you.

His
First here is the carburettor manual
http://www.3cyl.com/mraxl/gt/manuals/su ... /cover.htm
Second 25.75mm is you float height the other one is for the separate carburettor 1972 and 1973 model J or K.
The best way to adjust the engine speed at idle is with an airflow meter but it can be done manually.

My engine is now without engine oil.
I mounted the new clutch wire, I tried to pull the clutch lever and to engage the lever of starting, I noticed that despite the clutch in the pull, mesh to get into motion, perhaps because the clutch plates are oil-free and do not detach, is it wrong or is my thought right?
